Awesome shot! I have a Sony Cybershot right now too ... except, I can't seem to EVER take pictures of the moon and actually have it turn out where you can SEE the moon, not just a big white circle.
What settings did you use on this to be able to see the moon? I've been trying so hard and haven't been able to.
Well... I have a lot of problems at shooting the Moon. This is my best attempt yet!
My F707 has a lot of settings, so it is possible to adapt it to most cases, although There aren't any built in modes for this kind of pictures. It's 4 years old. The newer cameras have lots of theese modes, and it's possible to find one that allows the camera to choose the best settings.
Mind you, this picture was done at sunset, while there was still a lot of light available.I had to point it to the Moon, so it set the exposure to its light. Then you have to play around with the exposure settings (EV) if you aren't satisfied with the outcome. The bottom line is experimenting.
If you find any articles on the web about taking pictures at the Moon, tell me, please!
A collection of the most beautiful and amazing square photographs I found among my favourites. Please have a look and give these artists the attention they deserve!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
